Tara started her company after working in landscaping for many years.
Drawing from an educational background in fine art and art history, she aims to bring a graceful aesthetic to her gardens and landscapes, with respect to sustainable planting practices for each unique project.
She is both a member and a student of the New York Botanical Garden, continuing to take classes every season, while currently working toward several certificates. After receiving her Permaculture Design Certificate in Italy during the winter of 2018, she went on to receive an Advanced Permaculture & Digital Design Certificate in Holland, in the fall of 2018. She is currently studying to become a Soil Foodweb Consultant.
When she isn’t designing , she enjoys a good Menemsha sunset at the end of a hard days work, and a State Road Sunday brunch with The New York Times.
“I feel most passionate when I’m learning, whether it be in the field or through ongoing classes and intensives. As soon as one season comes to a close, I can’t wait for the following spring when all the efforts of the previous season emerge again stronger than the year prior.
We continue to work with our clients throughout the season to ensure the health and longevity of their investments.”
